Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and Narrator. Duff was a graduate of Drama Centre London in 1990 and made her first TV appearances with Trial & Retribution Amongst Women & Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff was born 8th October, 1970 at Chiswick London. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actor from England. Her first big role was Fiona Gallagher from the UK television series Shameless' first two season. Then she played Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the television show From Darkness in 2015. Duff was the role of Enigma in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007), Notions on a Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) and Suffragette (2005). The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that, she was awarded the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the TV film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff is an accomplished award-winning English actress who is thriving in making her mark in the world of show business, appearing in as well as theatres, with a great sense of humour. She achieved mainstream fame as Fiona Gallagher from the British drama-comedy TV series Shameless.
